Hunting is the best thing ever to be incorporated in a game, its only on par with tree-climbing. The game will have tracking involved and the direction of the wind will affect it as well. If the animal senses you, you will have to chase it or shoot it but its very likely that you will miss if you aim randomly like you did in previous games since lock on is no longer there. But if you manage to approach the animal withojut being noticed you have the chance to assassinate it. However if the other animals notify the one you are trying to kill, then it will run away.
