I too would like to see a relationship develop over time, not a one-night stand and then the camera focuses on ______'s (fill in the blank, it might not be Aveline) stomach-womb area. Altair and Maria's romantic relationship wasn't shown; they just revealed how Desmond's next ancestor was born.

Ezio's relationship with Sofia--to me, they didn't look like they were falling in love at all. In my personal opinion, I think that Connor would have children with a woman he's known for a long time, maybe someone from the Mohawk tribe. If he were to have children or just one with Aveline, that'd be difficult for him, considering she lives in the deep South and he roams the New York-Boston area. Unless they come up with a good reason for her to stay in his territory (which would be interesting), I don't see it happening, as much as it tears me up to say that...I sail the Avelonnor ship. ^^
