It should be more like this. A noob who doesn't know shit about AC plays the game, decides to kill a guard for fun, the game makes the guards use weird tactics(that aren't that weird for a pro) and kill the noob in a few seconds.

One thing everyone forgot to mention. The Truth puzzles in AC II were damn annoying to me(I had to use walkthroughs) So if they are bringing it back in AC III with a whole new setting then most of us are screwed.
