I think this new outfit looks great. Ezio's original assassin outfit belonged to his father, then he obtained Altiar's armor, then in Brotherhood he got new robes similar to that. He obtained the Armor of Brutus in Brotherhood, so he needed new robes for this new adventure. He needed longer robes anyway since becoming Grand Master of the Order. Besides, the short robes of his father looked really weird on him when he has a moustache and beard .
