Barber
Baltasar da Silva, also known as the Barber, is a character in Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy, and a multiplayer character in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. He uses a sharp razor as his primary weapon.
In Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy, it is revealed that he was Cesare Borgia's master spy, and that he was not actually a barber. At one point, he partnered with Fiora Cavazza to investigate the Assassins. Though he failed to tail or catch his prey, he was able to observe their technique, clothing, and hidden blade, and took notes eagerly. This research resulted in him creating the Templar assassin, Il Lupo.
Later, when Fiora turned on Cesare and allied with the Assassins, he was able to outwit his hunters using a variety of traps. However, he was intrigued by Fiora's decision and offered to make a deal with her. The "deal" turned out to be a trap that almost resulted in Fiora's death, but Francesco Vecellio and his fellow Assassins came to her aid, and killed Baltasar and his men with arrows.
Unique moves
The Straight Shave
The Barber approaches his target from behind and forces him/her on their knees. He then holds their chin, causing the neck to extend, takes out his razor and slices the target's throat. The target then falls to the ground, dead. (Low Profile Kill)
The Cut-Throat Razor
The barber fluidly side steps in front of his target as he delivers a lethal slash with his razor to the neck. (High Profile Kill)
The Double Swipe
As he walks towards his target, the barber swiftly pulls out his razor and delivers a double slice to the neck, effectively ending their life. (Low Profile Kill)

- Basic: Green vest
- Extra 1: Red vest

- Advanced: Dual leather vambraces.
- Superior: Second dark layer of clothing under colored vest, darker and designed leggings, 2 added stripes on white cloth hanging from belt, added golden trim to vambraces.
- Elite: Leather spaulder with pouches attached to the strap.
Trivia
- The barber bears a certain resemblance to Johnny Depp's portrayal of Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street. They both kill people with straight razors, and have black hair with streaks of white in them.
- He was originally called the Butcher.
- He also bears a striking resemblance to Gangs of New York's Bill "The Butcher" Cutting.
