I'm gonna have to agree with CryptoKiller. AC is not an RPG in which you can affect the ending of the game. In fact, we are only looking through the memories of Desmond's ancestors. It's like reading a history book, so to speak. Although, I agree that different possible outcomes would be more fun, it'd also take away the sense of realism from the game.
