I think that the answer is pretty obvious, and by the 100% synch mechanism, if Ezio killed instead of capturing, we would get 50%, so no, plus the assassins never "captured" someone they only killed or ambushed a guy to get info, in the case of Altaïr he killed people who gave him info XD.
