Yeah, it's been said over 50, not exactly 50. @Subject1, Süleyman didn't actually have to "rise to power". His father Selim I was one of the strongest leaders of the Ottomans and he left the country to his son in a pretty good state. But his death was untimely and he was only able to have the throne for 8 years. So you could pretty much say Süleyman had it easy.
