Also, we can't just ignore blog comments in the RC. Do you have any idea of the flood a spammer can cause in blog comments? And as far as I've seen most of the contribut[e]rs from this blog do not bother reverting vandalism on articles, but rather like to comment more or leave a random LOL on the articles talk page.
You should be glad that we do not have a policy regarding blogs yet. If we want to, we can completely disabling commenting or blog creation..
