Eagle made various polls and nobody complained.

Bob/Sharath made 5 polls and has to stop.

Blogs are made for comments and discussion, if you dont want comments, Sima, you either dont allow blogs or ignore it. A lot of contributers dont die of boredoom in this wiki because of the blogs, remove blogs or dont let they comment will eventually cost good contributers.

This Wiki need contributers, contributers need blogs, blogs need comments.

Conclusion: The Wiki needs comments on blogs.
