as master decoder stated, customization has existed since ac2,you could change ezio's armor(did i spell that right?)and the color of his clothing.same in every ac game after, and you can do that in ac3 as well,i don't remember where i heard, but it is confirmed, and obvious.and personally speaking,i think acr was a good game, but not the best of the series,so far i think ac2 still holds that title, not for long though.anyway, acr and brotherhood where not really, how should i say this,"full" games, maybe.not saying they were bad,i loved both games, and they advanced the story fairly well, but they weren't "proper" sequels.essentially, acb was ac2.5.and acr was 2.75,maybe?both games did their jobs, and they also kept us satisfied until ubisoft was ready to unvail ac3,which looks marvelous from what i've seen from screenshots and what i've read ect.still itching for gameplay though.anyway acb's job was to continue ezio's story, and introduce multipllayer, that's what it did and did well.a fun game i think.acr was meant to close some doors.ezio's and altair's,paving the way for connor to jump in.the game didn't touch desmond a whole lot, except for some backstory, but it wasn't meant to.it focused on ezio and altair.ac3 is going to close desmond's story.if you think because acr wasn't all that good, that's fine.but saying it now defines the future of assassins creed is just insulting.ac3 was already in development long before acr was a thought.if you think it effects ac3,then just get out of here right now, because you are not a true assassin.
