The Keys were created by First Civ not Altaïr. The Apple led him to it. Niccoló and Maffeo hid them in Constantinople.

The Armor is unbreakable, look at Codex page 19. It clearly states that it's user is nigh invincible. Second if you observe the point in the video where he losed his armour then you'll see that they never show it break, only fall. Even from a cannon ball. Altaïr clearly states on another page that he is aware of firearms, and says that they are very big. (ex: cannons). So he wasn't saying that it just can't be broken by a sword.

And how many revelations did you want? If everything is revealed, then nobody will feel excited for ACIII as there will be no mystery and anticipation. And if you can't buy the DLCs then read this wiki for the answers.
