Sorry for not finishing my message yesterday, I noticed it was already 1:30am and I had to get up quite early.

Altaïr doesn't have eagle vision at 24. That is frankly a developer's error. They either did not have the time or resources to add in Eagle Vision for Altaïr's earlier memories. I'm not going to go make further statements about Eagle Sense because I think the ability is still quite undeveloped story-wise.

And the messages from Minerva and Juno happened in the Vault, not in the Apple itself. You could not view those messages while just having the Apple. The Apple was more of a pass to activate those messages rather than an artifact that contained the messages. Jupiter gave us a visual explanation of what happened to humanity and the First Civilization, which we haven't got before. He also revealed what the Grand Temple is, and that Desmond needed to go there (but that was obvious).
