One reason I published this post was to tell 'normal' folk (ie, people like you and me) who feel 'trapped' by their inability to perform in public: you are far more awesome than they are, because you don't demand a million spectators to do your best. And most importantly, you're not alone.

PS: don't confuse persistence with talent. The persistent do things over and over until they've memorised the timings and the route, while the talented only need a handful of tries. Rest assured I'm persistent, not talented! :)
