Claudia Auditore's business in Monteriggioni in Assassin's Creed II. In Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, the protagonist, Ezio Auditore, is able to view how much of Rome he has upgraded, as well as withdraw income from the bank vault. Similar to Claudia's money chest, the banks carry a limit to how many florins they can hold, and will not receive any additional income if they are full.
Assassin's Creed II
In Assassin's Creed II, the banks are only able to be upgraded in Monteriggioni, only certain Templar controlled banks can be entered, and are usually gaurded from 3 to 4 gaurds and can only be looted one time, though some banks may hold Codex pages. The renovation of the Monteriggioni bank adds income to your chest, but you are not able to withdraw or deposit any income into the bank.
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
There are ten banks in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhoodscattered throughout the various districts of Rome. Renovating them will increase the maximum balance in your bank account, as well as slightly increase your income.
Trivia
There is a bug in which bankers can be "killed" by all melee weapons by simply pressing the armed hand File:Bank.pngA bank in Romebutton when close enough to the bank. A kill animation will occur for the respective weapon, however, the bankers will be out of range, making it appear as if Ezio is attacking nothing. After the banker "dies," he will stand back up and act normally. If the player does this over and over again he/she might enter the bank and get stuck, however if the player shoots kills the civilians outside with projectiles, he/she will get desynchronized and appear out of the bank after the loading screen.
