I would like to see someone get screwed over by their blinding loyalty to the Assassins and watch them diverge. Altair learned to adhere to the Creed and then run the show, Ezio pretty much became the Order, Connor chose to follow the Creed at will and someone eventually told Edward that the Creed is a thing. It would be interesting to see a devotee to the Order, lose everything and then form, like TheOutsider says, a third party with their own mantra, perhaps founding Erudito.

Again we're seeing this increase in the morally grey decisions and Assassins, so whoever the Assassin is I expect someone balancing the Templar/Assassin/"There's a millenia old war? I want my things now but give me your weapons!" line
