Side-tracking for a second, did anyone watch the new X-Men films? There was this scene, and I hope I don't spoil too much, where Charles Xavier used his telepathic powers to try and convince Mystique of not carrying out a certain murder... I won't say more. But the fact is, it'd be really cool to have an Assassin who's kind of fallen out of the Order, even if still pursuing their goals, and use him as a vehicle to show that the Assassins aren't really about murdering all their enemies -- it's all about the dose, really. The Assassin would basically become a mass-murderer, which -- even if he is killing Templars and tyrants -- just drags him down a circle of violence and death.
