This is why you have The Templars instead of the Superintendent of the Free World. XD To do things the Templar-way would be no different than what we humans were created for in the first place, by Those Who Came Before.
And finally, to complete my transformation into a Templar...
"He disregarded the voice of the people, thinking only of himself,"
When the people no longer possess their free will, their opinions are thus made irrelevant. And yes, peace is an illusion, it is just as much an illusion as free will... Our entire existence is an illusion. We are blinded by our own perception. Limited by it. We could all exist as mindless zombies to a greater power, and only perceive that we have free will, by perceiving that being mindless is in fact the presence of free will. Every moment, for all we know, we could be being told absolutely everything to do; eat, drink, run, walk, everything, and we would not even know that our free will was non-existent. Because we are blinded by sight... Nothing is true everything is permitted.
I may be a Templar, but i am just as wise as any Assassin... if not wiser. ;) The views of the Assassins and Templars is just as philosophical, and just as wise. The only difference, is the end result ;)
