The problem with the Russian Revolution is this: while their were plenty of very bad people doing very bad things (Red Terror), it's very hard (though not impossible) to do a story where they are villains meeting a comeppuance at the hand of a heroic assassin, as most of them were either assassinated by Mother Nature or were executed by Stalin in the Purge of 1938.

On the other hand, the RR does come with its own James Bond: Sidney Reilly, the Ace of Spies. Not sure if he'd be an Assassin or a Templar, though.
