None of those settings are going to be chosen for any future AC games. Assassin's Creed is meant to traverse many different time periods each main title. I think one of the team said: "New main title, new setting, new protagonist. That's the way it works." They would not reuse America for AC IV. Considering the survey they put up asking where people would like to see AC III take place, they are likely to visit China and the French Revolution in the next set of games.
