I strongly believe the next game will be set in during the French revolution. But since Desmond have to find the other woman (Eve) I suspect that maybe the story might turn into that woman's Animus sessions and her reliving her ancestor. Since woman played a big part in the French revolution, I think there will be a female ancestor in the third game and you play as her, going around trying to restore balance and steal the AOE
