World War II could kind of work, but it would be hard to do.

Imagine trying to sneak and run to a certain place, while avoiding guard patrols who could practically kill you in one shot.

Then again, it would seem too much like Metal Gear Solid, I suppose, and there wouldn't be much in the way of Apprentices.

I could see a game from the view of the Assassin who kills Hitler, as the dictator attempts to escape from the bunker on making a body double with an Apple of Eden.
