Then they shouldn't have thrown hints that they did have feelings for each other, if they intended her to be a double spy. I actually doubt if it was always intended. If it was she could at least have been offered some redemption. Of course I want to kill some templars too, but I still want a good story and characters I can care about, such as Desmond. Probably Lucy and Desmond were the only ones I did care about in the modern world.
