I prefer desmond as a side track mission or side quest like a memory sequence of Cristina or Altair. But Desmond overall in a game is not appealing for me. Its always about history that makes this Series more interesting. AC is a great game because of a mix of history and modern times. and thats it. If its about guns, What is the use of the sneak attack as an Assassin that he learned in the Animus. Eventually he will learn how to handle firearms. Since Connor will be handling a rifle in the game.
