I still prefer modern times like a sidequest for desmond and thats it. If they want to have modern times assassins they can just use the same thing they did in altair or cristina like a side mission and use it for modern times. And I think desmond really needs connor's skills when it comes to guns, Since connor has two pistols in his waist he can learn that whatever skill it is from bleeding effect in no time =)
