Way to go to turn it into something racist. No, because the Philippines didn't have a profound effect on world history. Sure, they had their own history and it may have contained events that changed the country's history drastically, but it didn't have any effect on the world in the short or long term. The Crusades, the Renaissance and the American Revolution did. That's what Ubisoft is looking for; world changing events that are rarely visited in games. The Philippines is just rarely visited in games, but there are much more fitting settings that Ubisoft could choose.
