Well, if Lenin found out that Stalin was a traitor [and a Templar] and Lenin and Mao Zedong were both allies to the Assassins, I'm pretty sure Mao Zedong would've been aware of Stalin's true loyalty.

Plus, why did Stalin "wage war" (for as far as you can call it) against his own Templar allies during the Cold War? A similar act to World War II; a Templar setup?
