If you think about it we've seen both ends of the spectrum. In 1984 we've seen how Big Brother controlled the world and saw that domination in the wrong hands is dangerous, but then in an apocolypse movie, most survivors fight for their survival, instead of banding together. Honestly, I do n't think that complete freedom or complete control are the right answer, but a compromise of both is probably the best solution. But, to be fair, these movies and situations only shed bad light on "anarchy" and "domination" and both could easily be shined in a brighter, greater light
