Azincourt, known in English as Agincourt, is a commune in northern France.

History[edit | edit source]

On 25 October 1415, Azincourt was the site of a major battle between invading English forces and the French. After a decisive English victory with many of the French's leaders and commanders killed or surrendered, the French were heavily demoralized for the next decade.[1]
