Having watched a bit of Rogue walkthroughs before most of them went down, I retract my previous statement of it possibly being Revelations of the Kenway trilogy.

I see it now as what Brotherhood was to AC2. It was more of the same, with some minor positive changes, and good story expansion. Just like AC2 and AC4 massively improved upon the previous games, Brotherhood and Rogue keep you going on 90% of the same stuff without being boring or tedious.
