Every guard faction is against you. Always. Saracens, Crusaders, Medici, Pazzi, Forli, Venetian, Savonarola's, Borgia, Ottomans and Byzantines. Just because you are buddies with their higher-up (Lorenzo, Caterina, Suleiman) doesn't mean they won't clobber you given the chance. You won't be able to avoid killing the blue coats at some point of the game, even if just in free-roam, it's essential part of the game.
