Uhm, Ubi didn't say Manuel would be the "first good Templar," and the Templars were already noble back in AC1. I'd like to know where that was said, because all they said is that they would make the Assassin-Templar conflict more gray which it already was back in the first game, just not in Brotherhood and perhaps AC2. The Templars' intentions have always been noble, just not their methods. Same for the Assassins.

As for Connor, just wait until the final game to complain about Connor killing just Brits. They obviously don't want to show anything, so it must be a spoiler. If there's nothing in the final game you have every right to complain about the actual game.
