Also, gun violence doesn't necessarily correlate with overall violent crime, and Britain has issues of its own.* I don't want to get into a gun debate here since this really isn't the place for it, but do know this is a thorny issue in the US for a reason.

Not that that changes my position that video games don't cause this violence. That remains the same.

• To clarify, that post debunks the suggestion that violent crime in Britain is as high as some make it out to be. However, it also suggests that America isn't a crime-ridden wasteland either.
