It doesn't matter if the kid is level-headed and doesn't really try to copy any of the things in it since they play them as games and don't mix up reality but the problem is that some kids do that. They literally learn the things in the games. They become violent, abusive, rude etc. but even though it is not common it still happens. I can't name a single person from my younger days that act the way kids do these days. Hell we didn't use English swear words till 6th grade.

In the end its to do with poor parenting. If the parents are good at it, then the children will turn out well and will never get any "ideas" from games. Like most of us here.

And you don't see the irony, the word "Mature" says it all. Very few kids are "mature" enough to understand the themes, that maturity comes with age. They don't even understand what the game is really about and that is an insult to the game in a way. Also this doesn't apply to just games, but mature content in general. In those days, adults strove extremely hard to keep kids innocent for as long as possible. They still do, but fail at it, cause they are doing it the wrong way.

End of rant. No debates please.=P
