i think that all of you people need to forget about the AC storyline for a sec and try to find an unrelated explanation and then figure witch one has more historical truth. here are a few examples: 1. both orbs and spheres have been items of power for centuries(yes i know this has been said many times just a recap) 2. apples have been in mythology in nearly all old peoples example the golden apples used to slow down Atlanta in her foot race with Melanion here is the link if you want t o read for our self : http://www.greekmythology.com/Myths/Heroes/Atlanta/atlanta.html(the part about the apples starts in the eighth paragraph) 3. the sun was a huge part of life for many old peoples as well. it was usually portrayed as a golden orb or sphere.
