Adding onto what I mentioned earlier, having Amunet as a Chronicles protagonist, in combination to putting a spotlight on the Egyptian pantheon of gods/First Civilization, it could also be a framing device for the Scepter of Aset in a more interactive medium and not some sub-canon plot in the Defali and Corbeyran comic series, maybe serving as a Piece of Eden in combination with the Ankh, since both of them are practically "Egyptian".

Also, when I imagine Aquilus and Accipter, the desire was more to bring them out of a semi-canon medium, and perhaps Ubi could explain away the giant plot-hole in seeing Aquilus' death from his own eyes, even though he had just conceived the next in line with Valeria; there's no way a sperm cell could have any recollection of Aquilus' memories post-emission.
