This page lists all the nominations for Featured status. The Istruttori monitor this page and the voting process.
Featured is the highest level an article can achieve, and as such, it must meet certain requirements.
…be well-written and detailed.
…be unbiased, non-point of view.
…be sourced with all available references and appearances.
…follow the Manual of Style, Layout Guide, and all other wiki policies.
…not be tagged with any sort of improvement tags.
…have a proper lead, with a undetailed résumé of the article's contents.
…have no more than 6 redlinks and none in the introduction, infobox, or any templates.
…have significant information from all sources and appearances, especially a biography for character articles.
…provide at least one quote on the article.
…preferably include a "personality and characteristics" section on all character articles.
…include at least 2 images of sufficient quality to illustrate the article, if said images are available.
…preferably have a "behind the scenes" section where the info if available.
…pass review by the Istruttorium review panel.
If the article meets at least 5 of the prerequisites, the article is permitted to be held for nomination.
How to nominate:
First, nominate an article you find is worthy of Featured status, putting it at the bottom of the list below.
Others will object to the nomination if they disagree that the article is not good enough; they will then supply reasons for doing so, and ways to improve the article (errors, style, organization, images, notability, sources).
Supporters adjust the article until the objectors (with reasonable objections) are satisfied.
The article is placed on the Featured article list and categorized as such.
Also, if, at least a week after the article's nomination, that article has 5 Istruttore supports and no objections (or the objections have been stricken or overridden), it will be added to the queue, and will be officially known as a "Featured article."
How to vote:
Before doing anything, be sure to read the article completely, keeping a sharp eye out for mistakes.
Afterwards, compare the article to the criteria listed above, and then either support or object the article's nomination.
Please note that in order for your vote to count, you must have at least 50 mainspace edits.
If you object, please supply concrete reasons for doing so, and how it can be improved.
As stated above, any objections will be looked upon by the nominator, supporters, and anyone willing to improve the article, and action will be taken to please the objectors. Do not strike other users' objections; it is up to the objector to review the changes and strike if they are satisfied.
Once the article has at least five supporting Istruttori votes and no outstanding objections after at least a week, the article will be added to the queue and be officially known as a "Featured article." Although articles do not need regular users' votes to pass, non-Istruttori are encouraged to review articles and participate in the process.
Also remember to add {{NomF}} at the top of the article you are nominating.

There was a lot of unnecessary information. The description of the Great Chain wasn't needed, that's what the link to its separate article is for. And the Aftermath section was far too detailed, I deleted most of that. Otherwise the rest of it is good, just one minor thing. In the Meeting with Yusuf Tazim section, it mentions Ezio and Yusuf discussing the bomb, yet the quote for that part is in the next section, making it a bit out of place. Well, it could be expanded in some areas such as the Confrontation with Manuel and the Destruction of Byzantine Weaponry could use a minor expansion along with the Aftermath which is only a minor expansion, don't go into too much detail with that. The wording needs to be improved, and some sentences and parts need to be trimmed and refined. Also, the spacing needs to be fixed as there are many long paragraphs that could be separated for a cleaner appearance. Lastly, the grammar could use some work. Nos, could you please be more specific on where the needlessly lengthy paragraphs are? I cut them myself, and each paragraph's ideas seem to be grouped appropriately - though naturally, I could be wrong. =GuardDog 12:27, February 5, 2012 (UTC)
I wouldn't say needlessly lengthy, I just think that some more spacing could make the article easier to read and have a better appearance. For example, in the opening section in the paragraph "During his travels...," I believe that could be spread into two paragraphs at like "He ensured the future...." It might be an odd comment, but it's just my opinion on it, though you obviously know far better than I, Guard, so do what you feel is right; I just believe that the spacing could provide an easier-to-read appearance. I think I said this before, but the wording could be a lot simpler and easier to understand (keep in mind, English is not everyone's native language and we do want everyone to be able to read our articles). The amount of "difficult" words does not determine the quality of an article. The infobox image could be better, though the rest of the images are good. Some of the quotes don't really work, so you might want to have a look at that too. There were also some punctuation mistakes that will have to be taken care of, but I can do those myself when I have the time. That's all, I believe.
