Wolves Among The Dead is a memory in Assassins Creed: Brotherhood.
Description
Ezio enters the Catacombe di Roma, beneath the Piramide Cestia, in search of a shrine to Romulus. He traverses the Catacombs and arrives at a large hall where he encounters two Followers of Romulus. He attempts to converse with them.
- Ezio: I seek those who lead the Followers of Romulus.
Ignoring Ezio's plea, the men hurriedly leave the hall through an exit at the upper level of the room, severing the rope used to escape. Ezio scales the giant hall and follows the path taken by the followers before arriving at another room. Here he is surrounded by a group of weapon drawn followers.
- Follower of Romulus 1: (Laughing)
- Follower of Romulus 2: Hear us, oh Romulus, what must we do to this trespasser?
The Followers of Romulus begin to attack Ezio.
- Ezio: Do not listen. Only the Borgia speak through him, not your god.
- Follower of Romulus 2: Romulus says that the Assassin must die!
Ezio scales the multi-levelled room, defeating followers on each of floor. Upon reaching the top floor Ezio leaves through an exit and arrives at a shrine to Romulus. Opening the chest, he claims a scroll and key number II of VI, to unlock the treasure of Romulus. Ezio then leaves the catacombs and returns to Rome.
Outcome
Ezio retrieves a key and scroll of Romulus and leaves the Catacombs.
Trivia
- To get 100% synchronization, the player must finish the memory within eight minutes.
- The key taken with the Scroll is one of six which are required to unlock the Armor and Dagger of Brutus.
- The torches that appear in this memory act as a navigation tool, and show the correct paths to take. Also, multiple arrows can be seen on the walls after activating Eagle Vision.
- There are three flags available to find in this Secret Location.
- If you use Eagle Vision near the entrance to the basilica you will notice two drawings on the floor: block of text saying "Artefacts sent to the skies to control all nations, to make us obey a hidden crusade. Do not help them" and the Eden Pyramid. These are the same messages Subject 16 wrote in the Abstergo Laboratory.
