The Kolossos Mace

The Kolossos Mace was a mace used in the 5th century BCE Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Monger of the Peloponnesian League branch of the Cult of Kosmos was seen wielding a mace akin to the Kolossos Mace. Meanwhile, the mace was commonly found by the Spartan misthios Kassandra in the inventories of blacksmiths and on bodies and in chests during her travels throughout Greece.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Kolossos Mace, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as a number of other weapons in the same game, for example the Champion's Mace and the Mace of Justice. These are both the recycled model of Face-Breaker, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins.

The Greek word κολοσσός (kolossós) means '(large) statue', and is where English gets the word colossus and its variants.
