Teleforce was a particle beam projector invented by Nikola Tesla. He claimed to have conceived it after studying the electrostatic generator by Van de Graaf. Small version of these hollow metal globes can generate extreme high voltage currents. Teleforce was designed to be a weapon usable against infanty or aircrafts. The weapon was long considered impossible to build, but Tesla claimed that he had actually built, demonstrated and used one.
