Unlikely since the develepers said that Fedual Japan is too overdone and not original enough for Assassins Creed, but this does not mean it is completely out of the question.

It is the most requested setting i think Ubi should deffinetly give it a go, if the problem lies within making the game too unoriginal then all they have to do is make it new and never before done while keeping it interesting.

Assassins Creed 5 most likely will be set in China, Egypt or France before the 17th century. I think it is safe to presume if we do indeed se Fedual Japan there will be no black pajama wearing magical ninja and alike.
