Well there is a little secret to that haha. I only knew two facts going in which was that Ezio met with a chinese assassin Shao Jun, and that her order had been destroyed sometime around the early 16th century except for her. I'd need to do a little more research but could conceivably add on another time frame taking place from like 1520-1550 with the rebuilding of the chinese order.

EDIT: Alright finished up some more research and included more detailed on my blog. I actually am starting to like that time setting.
