i hope it ends with desmond trying to get to the sattelite to stop it, but Daniel Cross comes and try's to stop Desmond but ultimately desmond reaches the sattelite but has to climb up when daniel climbs after him but desmond kicked him in the face and he fell of and fainted. Desmond stops the sattelite 3 seconds before launch, when realising there was the solar flare, and says: oh God! when suddenly you hear Shaun saying: Nah, its just me, oh by the way i just saved the world from a solar flare!

Wich means that Shaun turns out to be the hero too!
