The Crusader Tunic was an armor set that once belonged to the Black Cross Eamon Hathaway. In the early 1580s, Eamon and his fellow Black Cross Nirmala arrived in Japan, ostensibly to hunt down Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke, though both Templars were more interested in following leads on an Isu location they believed to be the Observatory.[1] After a confrontation between the two pairs that left Yasuke near death and the Black Crosses with the vault's key,[2] Naoe tracked them down to a cave in Wakasa. There, she fought against Nirmala and Eamon until a surprise appearance by Yasuke allowed her to assassinate Nirmala with her Hidden Blade. Despite putting up a fight, he soon was defeated and Yasuke took Eamon's tunic, along with his helm and his sword as spoils.[3]
