What exactly struck me as AWESOME:

1. Going through the snow. Connor seems to go through the deep snow with great difficulty.

2. High-profile-hidden-blade assassinations differ completely, whether they are done from behind or from the front - from behind you see Connor rolling, and from the front - he just pushes the guy with a slide.

3. The movements are actually different.

All other points (bears, tree-climbing, rope-dart, free-flow combat, sliding under the trees, house jumping, etc.) are just the new features that could be installed in every previous game. The changing of core aspects (like movements) are the most awesome.
