Well Ezio's mother was raped when they nabbed his father and brothers, so...
Charles Lee just seems way too convenient. Plus if it turns out that Connor's mother was raped, I doubt the developers would finger Charles Lee as the culprit, some people wouldn't like that. Alex did say that they were going to be careful with their choice of characters being that some of them are the great great great grandfathers of currnetly living people.
