I feel that ship sailed after Revelations: they could've left it at the hint that Altair died of old age travelling to Mongolia, and for us to imagine Ezio settled down aged 40 after destroying his nemesis by proving he wasted his life. But since then we've seen the endings of Altair, Ezio, Nikolai, Daniel and Desmond, it'd be disappointing for hardcore fans of Shao Jun, Aveline and Connor (and please don't be flippant by saying there aren't any, because while I'm not quite sure I need to play Connor's involvement in the War of 1812, the front page shows there are) if they didn't conclude their stories.

I feel that ship sailed after Revelations: they could've left it at the hint that Altair died of old age travelling to Mongolia, and for us to imagine Ezio settled down aged 40 after destroying his nemesis by proving he wasted his life. But since then we learned how Altair, Ezio, Nikolai, Edward, Haytham, Daniel and Desmond died, it'd be disappointing for hardcore fans of Shao Jun, Aveline and Connor (and please don't be flippant by saying there aren't any, because while I'm not quite sure I need to play Connor's involvement in the War of 1812, the front page shows there are) if they didn't conclude their stories.
