I was directly quoting the trailer. I don't recall (and I may be wrong) a direct tagline of Connor being a 'mohawk' (not even mentioned at all?) trained by assassins or Ezio being a nobleman being trained by assassins?

I don't know whether it's to emphasise the fact that he's a pirate ("A pirate trained by assassins")

Or whether it is because he is not fully an assassin and that's why they are not refering to him as an Assassin Pirate ("A pirate trained by assassins")

Just splitting hairs but what else can we do at this point? Speculation is interesting, fun and is what makes the AC fanbase keeping up with I think
