Asterion's Spring was a huge statue in the Minotaur Hills in Pephka, Greece. Located southeast of Fort Lato and south of Lato, this statue of the Minotaur stood at the spring of the nearby river. It also served as a shrine, as altar, offerings, and praying people could be found nearby.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra visited the place.[1]
