Asterion's Spring was a huge statue in the Minotaur Hills in Pephka, Greece. Located southeast of Fort Lato and south of Lato, this statue of the Minotaur stood at the spring of the nearby river.
During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra visited the place.[1]
Trivia
- The site serves as a viewpoint in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey.
- The name of this statue is a reference to Asterion II, king of crete and the minotaur himself.
